In adhering with Vermont’s simple lifestyle, I think you’ll find my terms fair and uncomplicated.

With all custom orders I require a 50% deposit. This deposit secures your position on my calendar and allows me to buy the materials I need or set aside the materials if I already have them. As business decisions are made based on your commitment, deposits are not refundable. Should your needs change your deposit can be applied to another custom order providing work has not started on the original piece.

On occasion, I ask for a second payment as the piece or pieces progresses. This is only in the event the order is very large or time-consuming. Otherwise, the final invoice will be sent when the piece enters the finishing room. The final payment is expected upon completion and prior to shipping.

Once complete, you have the following options:

  1. You may pick up the piece yourself, in which case I am required to collect Vermont sales tax.
  2. I do make some local deliveries within Vermont and to neighboring states. I charge a reasonable fee and must collect Vermont Sales Tax on all orders I deliver personally, except in New Hampshire.
  3. For nationwide deliveries I use several reputable firms whose rates are generally reasonable. I solicit multiple quotes to assure you the best value. Sales tax is not collected on deliveries made outside of Vermont by a bonafide delivery company.

In the event you’re not able to accept your piece upon completion, arrangements can be made for short term or long term storage. Payment, however, is still due upon completion.
